Where is the 24th NAMC EXPO being held?

What are EXPO dates and times?

Wednesday, June 21 – 6-8pm

Thursday, June 22 – 3-5pm

Friday, June 23 – 3-4pm

 

What other activities will be happening during EXPO hours?

Both breakfast and lunch will be served in the EXPO hall on both days

 

When can I gain access to my booth?

The EXPO Hall hours are as follows:

Wednesday – 12pm – 8pm

Thursday – 7am – 5pm

Friday – 7am – 4pm

 

When does my booth have to be set up and ready to go?

5pm sharp on Wednesday, June 21. The Welcome Reception begins at 6pm and we ask all exhibitors to be set up and ready to go one hour before.

 

Where should my booth materials be shipped?

Shipping and handling of material 48 hours prior to event or less:

What happens with material coming from outside of Canada/ Customs?

If your material is coming from outside of Canada, it is subject to Canadian customs standards. The Government of Canada is available to offer assistance to groups bringing exhibits, displays, convention materials, etc into Canada. Such items, when not being used for resale, can enter country duty free, if the convention is registered.

How do we manage materials being delivered by transport truck?

To access the loading dock from St-Louis Street, turn right on Tresor Street. The dock will be located on your left. It is important to know that access to the loading dock is on a one way street.

It is possible that you will find the door locked when you arrive at the dock. Please use the phone located at the loading dock’s entrance to ask for security to unlock the door.

The exterior arch of the loading dock is 11’6’’ high. The elevator has the following dimensions:

  • 7’ high, 6’ 5’’ large, 5’ deep
  • Door : 6’ high, 4’ large
  • Maximum capacity of 3,000 pounds

As soon as the truck arrives, the motor must be stopped. Since the shipping/receiving dock is a busy area, as soon as the truck is unloaded, the truck must leave. You can park the shipping truck in public parking areas if necessary.

 

What are the Shipping/receiving rules at the hotel?

It is necessary for convention/meeting organizers/exhibitors to provide labor and equipment for: truck unloading, material handling inside the hotel and truck loading at the conclusion of the meeting/exhibit. Installation or handling of the exhibit material is not the Fairmont le Château Frontenac’s responsibility. Please advice Stacey Sage of your specific needs via email to NAMC@mushrooms.ca.

 

How do I access my booth materials once I arrive at the Chateau Frontenac?

All booth materials will be delivered to the EXPO hall prior to set-up times and will be placed in your assigned booth.

 

When does my booth have to be dismantled?

All Exhibitors must be completely moved out by 4pm sharp on Friday, June 23 so we can set up for the closing night gala in Salle de Bal.  

 

What size is my booth?

All booths are 10’x wide by 8’ long.

 

What is the height of the drape?

Back wall – 8’ high

Side walls – 4’ high

 

How many booths are in the 24th NAMC EXPO?

There are 25 booths in total.

 

What is included in the booth?

Each booth comes with pipe and drape, electrical service, table, chairs, a table sign noting which company is in which booth and a trash can. Each exhibitor will be given a badge allowing you to access your booth during exhibit hall times.

 

How many conference registrations are included with my EXPO registration?

Each booth is limited to one (1) full business program member registration valued at $795. Any additional booth attendees are required to register for the full business program at the member rate.

What if I have to cancel my booth?

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to NAMC@mushrooms.ca in order to be processed. Cancellations received on or before May 2, 2017 will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received on or after May 3, 2017 will forfeit all fees paid.
