Sean O'Connor is the CEO of 4AG Robotics, a Canadian agricultural robotics company developing autonomous harvesting solutions for the mushroom industry, including the HX800 harvester. Before joining 4AG, Sean was Managing Director of Conexus Venture Capital & Emmertech, where he led investments in early-stage Canadian agtech through Conexus' $32M CVC Fund #1 and Emmertech's $60M agtech-focused fund. Earlier in his career, he was part of the leadership team at Grow Technologies, a Canadian fintech later acquired by ATB. Sean has served on the boards of more than a dozen companies across technology, agtech, hospitality, and non-profits, and is a regular contributor to The Globe & Mail, writing about the Canadian tech landscape and Canada's opportunity to become a global leader in agtech. He holds a degree in Finance and International Business from McGill University.
